Dear library patrons:

We are not going to be able to open this week due to some severe roof damage.

We are hoping to be prepared to provide curbside services by next week, and will give instructions when that is available.

Dear Library Patrons:

Thank you for your continued patience during this difficult time. The library staff will be working next week to get the library ready to reopen with the new guidelines the governor has put forth. We will announce when we are able to reopen to the public as soon as possible.

If you have items checked out, please return them on Monday or Tuesday (May 4-5). We will have a box at the front door of the library and also the backdoor book drop available for returns.

Painting Class Postponed

We’ve postponed this month’s Painting in the Ville to March 24th @ 4pm due to a death in the family

Photos from February’s Teen/Adult Programs

For painting we followed along with Bob Ross’ Joy of Painting. We all did pretty well. We will be following another next time too! Join us on Tuesday, March 10th @ 4PM for The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross!

Our teens enjoyed making structures to help a raw egg survive falling from the top of a ladder. Our next STEM at the Library day is on Tuesday, March 17th @ 4PM!

Help our 2020 Summer Reading Program!

I know summer seems to be worlds away, but it’ll be here before we know it. Summer reading takes months of planning to make sure everything is ready.

We are reaching out to Coffeyville’s citizens and area businesses to help us bring a wonderful summer reading program for 2020! Summer Reading promotes literacy and a love of lifelong learning in children, teens, and adults! This year’s theme is “Imagine Your Story” which focuses on fairytales, folklore, and fantasy. We will be holding at least four programs each week during the summer for patrons of all ages. We are hoping to provide small incentives to everyone who meets their reading goals and need craft supplies for various activities.

If you would like to donate, choose anything from the lists here and bring it to the library! If you would like to make a monetary donation, make sure to mention that the donation is specifically for the Summer Reading Program.
